In a 2-day meeting convened by HARPAS, WHO, TWN and UNDP's Arab Trade Programme, 11 consultants specialized in Intellectual Property Rights are meeting in Cairo to discuss the analytical framework of national reports on Intellectual Property Rights in Arab countries in a regional joint-initiative to enhance access to HIV treatment for PLWH. The findings of this report will be presented during a regional workshop in November 2007 in Cairo, Egypt, in front of national delegations from countries participating to this initiative (Algeria, Pakistan, Lebanon, Morocco, Jordan, Qatar, Tunisia, Yemen, Sudan, Palestine, Kuwait), and the reports will be published at the beginning of 2008.
